3D Fashion

I am so amazed by what technology and fashion can create. Designer Iris Van Herpen 

created collections using the technology of 3D printing. Viewing her collection started filling 

my mind with creative juices, and the exciting thoughts of many endless possibilities for the

 future of fashion. Iris discusses the ideas of one day using 3D printers to create garments by 

order that will fit each individual client perfectly. Which is such a fantastic idea! 

What do you guys think about this 3D printing technology entering the fashion design world? 

Maybe one day we won't even need sewing machines?? 

I personally would still prefer to have the option of sewing.

I am in love with all the glass bead details from Alexandre Vauthier's Fall/Winter '13 collection. These are the types of collection I always gravitate to,  I just can't get enough of all the sparkle and shine. Also how cool is this bejeweled face piece from Margiela.

These dresses are my favourites from Giambattista's Spring 2013 collection, and I love that these photos showcases the back details of these dresses. The back is just as beautiful as the front. I am so in love with this collection!!!
